StitchSpace LA is a sewing and fiber arts studio where people of all ages come and explore sewing. Our open minded and efficient community helps students of all levels build a repertoire of skills that they can use to bring their visions to life.
An outlet for people interested in textiles and other fiber arts, StitchSpace LA is a place to experiment and find what kind of “making” makes them happy.

How it Works
No matter if you are new or experienced come to our general sewing machine class! We will teach you how to further your knowledge of working on the machine and facilitate your personal sewing journey.
If you are a beginner we start by teaching you how to properly use the machines. Then you sew our beginners projects which give you fundamental skills so we move on to projects of your choosing!
We provide all the materials you need for your first project.
All further projects require students to bring their own fabric, thread etc. that is needed to complete that specific project. A materials list is provided to beginner students at the end of the first class.
All Classes are Drop Off Only. No Guests
Our beginner projects are a pillow, reversible tote, pj pants and a zipper bag. The Lee family models them flawlessly:)
Machine Sewing Classes
Any of these times are for Any Skill Level! If you are a total beginner you don’t have to bring anything to your first class!
Weekdays: {10-12 pm} {1-3 pm} {4-6 pm}
Tuesday Night Adult Class: {7-9pm}
Wednesday Night Adult Class: {7-9pm}
Thursday Nights are for Intermediate level students who have already completed the beginner projects. Please only book Thursday 7-9pm if you meet that qualification. Intermediate sewing class can be booked through the calendar.
Saturdays: {10-12pm} {1-3 pm} {4-6 pm}
Hand Sewing Classes
Embroidery or Hand Sewing Plushies:

Gather at the studio via your computer and make a reversible, reusable tote bag. Learning about the grain of your fabric, seam allowances, how to create a box bottom and how to make your own straps are just a few extras that will help you in your sewing journey .
